Arrival → Anuradhapura

Airport pickup. Drive north to the ancient capital. Check in and rest.

Anuradhapura

Full day exploring the sacred city — Sri Maha Bodhi tree, Ruwanwelisaya stupa, Jetavanaramaya, and royal pleasure gardens.

Day 3

Polonnaruwa

Morning drive to Polonnaruwa. Explore the medieval ruins by bicycle — quadrangle, Gal Vihara rock temples, Royal Palace.

Day 4

Sigiriya

Early morning Sigiriya Rock Fortress climb. Afternoon Minneriya safari (seasonal elephant gathering).

Dambulla & surrounds

Dambulla Cave Temple. Afternoon at leisure or spice garden visit.

Drive to Kandy

Scenic drive south. Stop at a batik workshop or pottery village en route. Arrive Kandy.
